The cottage Ref#02-101 is now floating somewhere on the Fraser River up near Port Coquitlam where another house going to Protection Island will be loaded tomorrow. John and Lisa Mallett bought this little house and are setting it up on their property on Mudge Island near Nanaimo. They have had the name "Channel Point Lodge" picked out forever, just waiting for the right house to come along. They loaded a bunch of their personal effects into the house on Saturday for the trip to Mudge, but were afraid to leave the stuff unguarded...so they camped out in the "Big A Truck Park" (our storage yard) and left early Monday morning for home when the boys arrived to load it...Lisa was heard to exclaim - John really knows how to show a girl good time....but they really had fun and are just great people.Update: The pictures below now include the cottage being moved on its new site.
