Nickel Bros. proved its industrial mettle recently by relocating two fuel storage tanks from Stewart British Columbia to Delta British Columbia. Each tank was 100' in diameter, 85' high and weighed 530 tonnes.
Due to our geographical location, water plays a key role in our day to day activities. Nickel Bros. is located on the West Coast of Canada in the Province of British Columbia, roughly a 4 hour drive from Seattle Washington. The combined effort with a local barging company and the precise calculations by Nickel Bros., resulted in another successful business adventure for the company. As illustrated on the map below, the distance travelled by those fuel tanks was largely by water. Barging is commonplace here on the West Coast and Nickel Bros. utilizes various barge companies to better service Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, the Sunshine Coast and Washington State.
